Pakistan - epicenter of terrorism

I was reading stuff about the Teflon don trials happening in the US. This is about a mob figure who has been given the name of Teflon don because no trial has managed to convict him.
Why do I bring this up now ? Because if there is any nation-state that deserves the name of Teflon state, it is Pakistan. This is a country about which there is an incredible amount of information regarding its role in promoting and supporting terrorism worldwide. Most recent acts of terrorism have been found to have a Pakistani connection. People go to Pakistan to get trained or to join a Madrassa where they get religious training. These institutions, in most cases, also cause a large amount of radicalization.
It has been argued for some time that the present leadership of Pakistan is the best bet to prevent the country from going over to the radical side. There are 2 main issues in that: The country is no tinpot country that a few radicals can just take over with everybody watching their country going to the dogs. The other point being that mollycoddling almost always gives the person a feeling that he can get away with anything because he/she is indispensable.
Pakistan has claimed to have done a lot ever since it switched sides against the Taliban. However, the taliban was the creation of the ISI (Pakistan’s rogue intelligence agency); almost all the major Al Qaeda suspects caught so far have been found in Pakistan’s major cities (causing suspicion of a staggered capture of these suspects so as to cause the flow of funds to keep on happening); and now the Pakistani Govt has signed a ceasefire with the Taliban, in effect handing them the territory to prepare for continued attacks on Afghanistan. And we all know what happened the last time that the Taliban was in control of Afghanistan.
Westerna nations are investing a great deal in Afghanistan in terms of people for security and rebuilding. They are also steadily losing soldiers in Taliban attacks, attacks that could be prevented by applying a further big squeeze on Pakistan. It is time to further tighten the screws on Pakistan.
