Rejection of Educational Loan for my son. I need help from the ombudsman of Banking to process my sons educational loan. I am resident of Chennai, Tambaram . The educational loan was rejected by UCO Bank and now from ICICI at Selaiyur, Tambaram. Being a single parent I am finding it very difficult to get my papers processed. Can’t a person having/paying a Home loan regularly apply for education loan for her son, even if she has a paying capacity? What is the solution for this.

I have applied for an SBI card. The courier triedd to deliver the card when i was out of town. I am calling the customer help line of SBI and registering my complaint asking them to deliver and they are confirming the same. Then the courier people call me twice and promising me different delivery times. Now i get a statement from SBI with no card delivered and i am supposed to make a payment of 49 rupees. I am surprised with this. Horrible service.

I have a savings account, joint account with my wife with the ICICI bank,
operating from the last four years or so. During the initial peried, even ATM card was operational but later I surrenderd the same after the peried of the initial one. There were undue charges noticed, when I approached the branch and on request recd. the statement.
Though time and again in spite of written report, the bank never botherd to post the statements. once I failed to remember the balace properly, issued a cheque higher than what is remained in my account. The bank dishonoured the cheque and debited Rs.393/- from my account and I paid Rs.250/- to the person to who’s favour I have issued the dishonoured cheque, being the penalty charge levied by his bank. Getting pained with this sort of dealing in spite of lodging written complints, the account holder continue to face with problems of dis-satisfactory services and exhorbitant charges have no other option but to close down the account.
However would like to know any other option including to get any compensation for such exhorbitant charges and dis-satisfactory services.

My name is Prem Kumar P having HDFC DEBIT card. I am from BANGALORE & I had visited MUMBAI on personnel basis. On 29-01-08 at 9.30p.m I had visited HDFC ATM located near THALAO PALI,THANE(W).What happened was when I inserted my card it got stuck & it got captured without doing any operations. I was in total confusion at that time. I did not have any money in my hand or any balance in my mobile. The security personnel over there refused to help me out in spite of people present inside the bank located adjacent to the ATM.I could not reach the customer care also as they work only till 8.00 p.m only.I took some money from one of the person who visited the ATM literally begging for 100 Rs.She gave me money with which I could manage my dinner & I proceeded to one of my friend house. The next day I as supposed to travel to BANGALORE but my mental agony did not allow me to go.I called up HDFC customer care the next morning to register my complaint & I was told that my complaint was registered on priority basis with complaint no 166690116.i was also told that my card will be returned to me within 48 hrs.But nothing has happened as yet.I said the customer care executive that I will collect the card from THANE BRANCH itself. But no one contacted me nor is my card returned.I want to sue HDFC BANK for all this & damaging my mental health & my profession. I want HDFC to bear my damages. Meanwhile I am in MUMBAI itself. You please tell me how shall I proceed. I got your e-mail id from internet & thought that you will be the appropriate person to help me.kindly help me out madam.I don’t want whatever I faced should be faced by any other customer in INDIA. I am being harrassed by Standard Chartered Bank collection/ recovery department. On 8/2/07 I was called on my residence number, from Tel# 011-66118048 by a recovery agent hostess named Asha Sharma. She was very abusive to my Sister-in-law,as I had gone to my Office. The Outstanding in question pertains to a mediclaim Insurance sold to me over telephone in Jan’07. Upon receiving the policy documents, with unacceptable offer not as per originally offered to me,I opted for cancellation, duly in writing.Other than this policy there was no other svapping of expense on that particular card. Non-Standard Chartered Bank waited for more than 3~4 months to act upon my request so as to Penalise me Prorate policy cancellation charges. Now these charges accrued with late charges + late charges together with service tax. I refuse to pay this unethical charge. Also I feel pertified of Standard chartered Bank to Proceed my personal details to such arrogant collection department who, are soo rough to handle, though I was a Card member since 2000 with very honourable credit worthyness,(am paying Standard Chartered Bank personal loan EMI of 8018/- without single Dishonour for last 34 months out of 36 months agreement even for once)in exception of my card relationship.
Kindly see, that the caller agency is nailed properly as am writing caller number from CLIP. Also direct bank strictly for handling recovery cases through proper dialogue and amicable way.

I had ABN AMRO credit card which was settled by me after paying 9000/- cash out of the total outstanding of Rs.13500/-. I was told to pay in cash so that the a/c will get settled and the settlement letter will follow within a week’s time. But this never happened and whenever i tried calling ABN service center they always you to say the a/c is not settled. Thereafter i started receiving bills every month and now after 3 yrs they want me to pay total of Rs8500/- to close the credit card a/c and without any intimation they have forwarded my name in CBIL whreby i am denied of any loan in future. I request your help to sort out this matter and penalize ABN AMRO for cheating me with my innocence. For any help or details in investigation you can call me on my cell 9819821378.

Hi,
I was holding HDFC Bank Credit card in 2005, the credit limit was Rs.44,000/-. I never received any Monthly statement from the Bank. My bank savings account got blocked by HDFC bank due to missing of one month Minimum Amount Due(MAD)payment. Then I paid Rs.8,500/- cash and got my savings account release. Then I paid the complete amount what all the credit card people asked me to pay i.e., Rs. 35,000/- by DD. They said that they are closing my Credit card, then I said okay with me.
After 2 years i.e., in the month of December 2007 I got a call from HDFC credit card people asking me to pay Rs.10,000/- which is due on my credit card, which is close in December 2005. I told them that I never recieved any statement or call from you after 2005 December, then why you are asking me to pay Rs.10,000/- immediately.
Please advice me on this… what I have to do?
Many Thanks in Advance….
Kindest Regards

Hello,
On Jan 13th my bag was stolen when I was visiting Bangalore and among other things, my HDFC credit card too. It is stolen in the morning though I discovered it in the afternoon. In the meanwhile, we used my husband’s add on card (mine is the primary card which got stolen) to pay advance bill of the hotel.
When I discovered the loss, I immediately calle HDFC customer service and reported the loss. I also told the executive to tell me the last five transactions and verified that all very done by myself and that there has been no misuse during the few hours I was unaware of the loss.
When they said new card would reach me within 5 days, I said I am out of town, dont know when will reach home, so I put my card on hold.
On 29th Jan I send them a fax to issue me new cards.
It is been so many days now, 18 days to be precise and they still have not given me new cards. Seem they undertook an investigation to find out a misuse. They had doubt about the hotel charges of Rs 3000 done on the day of the loss.
This is so amazing that in spite of my verifying all tranactions, they have to “create” an issue of misuse and delay giving my new cards.
I have been calling them up practically everyday to know when the cards would come so that I can plan to be at home to recieve the same. And everytime, the executive has no idea and puts call on hold and then comes back and quizzes me about the supposed misuse and I have to tell the whole story once again.
Can I go to banking ombudsman to complaint again this mental torture and delay in issue of cards?
Thanks

Dear Mr. Kamath,
below is the mail conversation with your customer Service from the
Bank’s Website wherein i can write to the accounts manager.
I am feeling really let down by your organisation and thought i should
write to you.
I hold a lot of respect for your and Mr Vaidyanathan and the way the
bank has grown over years and how you hold the key to the indian
economy.
I know all of you are busy and are really gearing great and will be
turning the wheels of fortune and make the india success story a real
one to remember.
Somewhere between dreaming big for the country and making ICICI a
great bank there is this bureaucracy that has crept in to your system
and i the attitude of i am a mass player and i really do not care for
customers. This is hurting.
I am sure you do not do this but your VP & Senior Managers definitely
seem to have such an attitude, would you not agree ?!! If you do not
do let me know as how i get such responses from your website / email /
account managers !!
I hold the following in your organisation :
Bank Account : XXXXX
Credit Card : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
Loan Account : XXXXXX
Demat Account : XXXXXX
I had the accounts sometime back and i have started to revive them as
my faith and trust in your organisation is growing day by day.
I am moving my funds from ABN Amro to ICICI already if you see the
account statements in the last 3 months.
My credit card spending has shifted from HDFC Bank to ICICI for the
last 3-4 Months.
I had taken a used car loan with your for the past 4 Months and prior
to this also i had a used car loan with you which i paid in full when
i shifted from Noida to Mumbai.
Now… i had submitted my documents at your powai branch and the
person who received it said that everything was perfect, i do not see
any error in it myself also.
I wanted my Demat address to be aligned with my Bank address and want
to start my trading on my ICICI Account and possibly migrate my
investments from other organisations to ICICI for consolidation. This
does not seem to happen and your staff are operating my machines and
have total disregard to customers.
i have never treated anyone like this all my life so why should i
stand to be treated like this ?
I know the chain mails are agony for anyone reading. But i suggest you
read this and understand what i am talking about, even if i get
aggressive it does not seem to have any impact or it is just driving
your staff’s ego heavy and i get slayed over and over.
My feel of ICICI, you do not trust your people that is why you have
such good IT infrastructure that functions fantastic when everything
goes right which is about 90%. But when things go wrong, ICICI is the
worst place to be as there is no clue where things start and where
they end.
Please help me.
Regards,
Ananthakrishnan Janardhanan

Sunil,
are you unable to understand my mail or are you presuming me to be an idiot ?
Can you read my mail and provide me a response. Do not waste my time
doing copy paste.
Appreciate some respect is given to a customer who wants to increase
his relationship with your organisation.
You have not call me as i had required in the mail. This shows utter
disregard to the customer / potential customer.
Read my mail and call me and clear things out. I presume that you were
lazy and did not bother to find my number for your ease i am giving
you my number, if your response and call are not appropriate i will
take this up to your management and close my relationship with ICICI.
Check my documents by yourself before you send me a response. do not
waste my time. I am sure you are paid for what you are doing ( Copy
pasting and harrassing ) but i am losing money and time. This is not
good.
Take this mail seriously and do your homework and call me and post our
discussion email me.
There are 2 ways for your to handle this.
1. Get all Egoistic and end my relationship with ICICI
2. Get down to reality and address the issue.
Now lets see what Vaidyanathan and Mr. Kamath have put together as a
customer service desk to address customers.
Standard ICICI Sunil Style Copy Paste Begin:
—————————————————
My respected Sir,
Did you bother to check the system and documents before you sent this
email to me ? I think not.
My Submission include :
1.Written request was submitted
2.My lease agreement was submitted
3.My PAN CARD ORGINAL WAS SUBMITTED FOR SIGHTING WITH 4.A XEROX COPY
attached as part of submission.
5. My bank account number was written.
I hope i make my point clear to you. the person who took my
application at powai branch is BAGYA SHALINI and she said that
everything is fine and asked me to mention my bank account number also
on the application form.
Now if your highness says that things are not fine by being lazy and
not checking the document and writing to me the credit’s comment i am
really hurt and offended. You just do not care do you ? You are
willing to pay Amitabh Bachan and Sharukh khan the money to do the ads
but not treat the people half as decent who bring in your profits and
salaries to your employees and the money the you use to pay the Khans
& Bachan’s of the world !! Very very strange.
What is the address that is updated in my bank account number ??? That
is the same address that i had requested to be updated on my DEMAT
Account number.
I want my bank account address to be used for all my icici accounts,
so would it be for DEMAT.
I am expecting a full explanation mail from you in this regard and
followed by a phone call ( Number available in my bank account ) Bank
account is linked to my Demat account and if you so lazy to check that
then do write to me i will give you the number.
i am expecting a call from you latest by 5 PM Monday.
I have a Bank Account, Credit Card Account, Loan Account & now i want
to revive my DEMAT account and migrate my investments and others into
ICICI for consolidation, looks like there is no help but a rude
customer service of Mr. “E T Anoop” who’s ego needed to massaged to
check on the details with your brilliant credit underwriters. He can
do it after the trading session only… wow… he is surely holding
the bear away and saving every customer’s money… Must be as he took
about 10-15 minutes to come of phone.
I was not given the Banking Ombudsman details also while requesting
escalation point in your organisation, this is a direct violation of
the RBI guideline and i want explanation for same.
This leaves me with no choice but to write to you for one last time
then escalate this silly thing to Mr.Vaidyanathan.
I am just tired and sick of handling ICICI BANK shortfalls on my
productive day and it is about time i put an end to it. I do not
really think you people realize it.

Now i addresses are still not updated in the system and i am getting
frustrated calling the call center.
I have multiple relationships with ICICI and i was wanting to move my

Hi.
I have applied for Demat & Trading account in your Dilshuknagar Branch,

Last but not the least i am not at all satisfied by your srevices as there
is too much delay in customer deliverables. To mention few it took 20 Days

muthual fund application option which i already have applied 20 days ago.
If this continues i would escalate to upper heads.
Thank you.

I was having a SBI credit card no:4317 5751 7462 9429 some time in year 2004 .During that time I used the card for say 1-2 mths. During this time itself they had charged me an Insurance premium of some nominal amount say around RS.40.I had spoken to the customer care centre and they told me that they will deduct this amount in the next bill. But as usual it was not done .I myself work for an Insurance company and why should I buy cheap insurance from SBI.Later , i cut the card into Four pieces and surrendered it in the drop box at SBI fort office ,mumbai. But to my dissappointment till now no action has been taken and thay say that you are over due of Rs .4000 (tentatively)and harassing me on phone at my house as well as office .Ofcourse , I even told the same story as I have narrated to you now ,and the executive from Delhi tells I understand (but then why no action has been taken).each time some new person calls and same story occurs.HE said you pay Rs.1000 and Iwill settle the matter .But why should I pay Rs .1000/ also for no fault of mine? He says we will have to go to court. Kindly , guide me as to what step should I take now .I am totally confused.I do owe credit cards of other banks but they never troubled me this way. Also, I am prompt of paying my dues.

Dear All,
i have a Barclay Gold Card and have used it once for Cash Withdrawal, the same was repaid in time alongwith interest. Last month I was offered Priority Circle Membership which I accepted and a charge of 5000+taxes for the same was levied on my Card.Later I came to know that the deal was not good from one of my friends, so I requested thhem to cancel the offer. My request reached to them 7 days before the payment due date. The customer care replied that the reversal was in process again well ahead of the payment due date. The concerned people did not reverse the amount and now I am getting calls, SMS, mails to pay-up. They are not prepared to admit their mistake and asking tme to pay-up the minimum amount before anyhting else can be done. I refuse to pay any amount because I find no fault of mine in the delay of offer cancellation.I have all the mails exchanged in this regard as a proof of my claim.
Please help me.

This is trully disgusting and highly terrifying experiences with your fucking services.
My SBI Card No : 4317 5750 3625 0067
Name of the Card Holder : Kundan Kumar
Date of Expiry : 03/08
After repeated follow-up I couldn’t get my validated card. After talking to your Bastards at the Customer Care services, in dusgust I finally cancelled my card on 17th March,2008.
My payment record have been absolutely fair. This is even true after I blocked my card , I made final payment of outstanding dues to close all my accounts with SBI Card. Infact I have paid Rs0.85 paise more than what I owed to the SBI card and the figure is well reflected in the statement generated on 19th May,2008 which was surprisingly received by me that after blocking my card.
Now ,an another idiot in whole lot of your bloody collection , Manish Dewan ,VP-Customer Service has issued a letter claiming that one of my cheque has not been banked - Cheque No.00911 dated 07.07.2006 for Rs.3000/-because it was outdated. It has been been claimed by your fools that the cheque was received on 16th June,2008. This cheque undoubtedly belongs to me from my Mumbai account which was rightly deposited in Mumbai when I was residing there 2 years back. But,being informed in negative of its whereabout by your customer care services, I cleared all my outstanding whatsoever in subsequent months and all the records of my transaction duly reflects the same.
The record is well established and same being in my record maintenance file of my HDFC Bank Account Statement-the Bank Cheque in context and your SBI Card as well.
The latest statement generated on 19th may,2008 reflects that I owe 85 paise on SBI Card. However,I express strong grievances for the same also as my card was blocked on 17th March,2008, how my billing was being continued?????????
To my surprise, how can you put such erroneous dues on me.Do you think when I have blocked my card and cleared all my dues,I shall pay Rs 3000/- as gratifying amount to your services for my association with SBI Card??????????????????No! certainly not! Why would I put in cheque when I don’t owe anything to SBI Card.
Only thing is that you have basket full of Bastards who thinks easy on part of harassing people without an ounce of brain to it.
If there is no outstanding dues on my account, are your people fool to take this cheque as my outstanding dues ? It was lost also because of your stupidity and informed wrongly to me.
I have complete record of all the transactions I have made to date and still If you think I can be any other ordinary customer then its a dirty game and I will not miss an opportunity to take SBI card to highest level of this game to make you people realise putting your fungers in the wrong hole.I will take you guys to highest level of judiciary.
If you have gutts you can try your another set of bastards -your recovery people also if you feel. But be prepared to pay a hefty sum for all your deeds.
I don’t know how you react to my grievances nor I expect any fruitful outcome of this mail.Because I am 100% sure of you nothing better than the rotten lot.
With lots n lots of Grievances

My card number is 5415382327199758. I had used the credit limit of my card upto some 70,000(approx) in the month of September,2007.I was in Delhi that time. In the very next month I shifted to Bokaro. The first time I got a call from Customer Care Department was in October when I had asked the executive to change my address and collect the amount from my freind. Although the amount was collected from her but the address was not changed. In December I shifted to Chandigarh after my marriage. That time I tried to contact the customer care but in vain… In February I got a call from one of your collection manager Mr Gagan Kohli( With whom I have been in direct contact with for my payments), threatening that if i dont make my payments on time he would harm me and my family. I conveyed him that because my address was not changed and also because there is no branch of ABN in Chandigarh I was not able to make the payment. He then agreed to send one of the executive to collect the payment of Rs 4500/- from me. Instead of my paying the sum the collection agents were visiting my old relatives and harassing and threatening them on phone as well. When I called Mr Gagan Kohli he assured that he would personnaly look into the matter and would make sorry to call to all those who were harassed in this case, which was never done. Since February I am in contact with Mr Gagan Kohli. I have updated my no. and address to him. He arranges to send an executive to collect the sum from me every month. In the month of March when I asked him to tell me the total amount due on my card he assured that he would calculate and trevert back by evening which he never did. I userd to call him one in a week but never got a good response from him. In the month of May He finally said that I need to pay somewhere around 60,000/- against my card. I asked him the option of paying it in one go and in installments both. For which I was again ensured by Mr Gagan Kohli that he would revert back in evening the same day. Not less than 25 times I would have called him for this simple query.Sometimes he was in meeting and sometimes he was out of Delhi. Anyways, whenever he picked the phone he promised to revert in next hour. On 7th or 8th when my payment was scheduled he called me up and said that the total amount to be paid by me was somewhere around 58,000/- if I go for a settlement. I requested him that I would like to make the payment in one go then he said that make the payment of 10,000/- this time and in a day or two he would send me the scanned copy of final settlement after which I can make the payment in one go. I agreed and made the payment of Rs 10,000/-.I waited for his mail but he never replied. I called him again for not less than 25-30 times on both his office landline number and his mobile no. 09811910610 both but most of the time he did not respond and even when he everytime he promised that he would revert back by evening and send the letter. On 20th June he finally sent the scanned of settlement letter which was again wrong ( it was for installment payment instead of one go). When I called him back he did not picked up his phone. After few days when he did he said that mistakingly he has sent that letter and promised me to send correct one the other day. The other day never came as usual. When I called him he never picked up the phone. After my 10-12 calls he responded and said that he cannot get two settlement letter issued for a single card number in ONE MONTH. And thus he asked me to wait for July. When I called him on 02nd July he said that he was not in town and asked me to call on 04th. So did I. He did not picked up the phone. I called him not less than thrice each day. But he never bothered to respond. When I called him from another number he started speaking rudely and said that I have no other option but to make the payment in installments. When I asked him to give the number of his supervisor he said he dont have any supervisor and even if he had he would never give me his/ her number.
I as customer request you to plase solve my problem as I had never expected this from a World class Bank like ABN Amro. And also there is a humble request that please dont keep employees like MR GAGAN KOHLI who although being at such a nice position behaves like illetrate and harrass customers.

Hi,
In the case of State Bank of India Vs Usha Vaid & Anr the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission termed prepayment penalty for home loan as unfair and restrictive trade practices. The Commission asked the bank to refund the pre-payment charges collected from Vaid, who had shifted her loan to another bank. It upheld that Consumers’ right to avail loans at lesser rate of interest can’t be curtailed by such prepayment clauses. SBI SLP (Civil) 16345 of 2007 against the Commission order in the Supreme Court has been dismissed vide SC order dated 19.09.2008.
Based on this i have approached ICICI Bank Ltd for refunding the prepayment charges levied on me for pre-closure of Home loan which they havent even bothered to respond upon. Hence, i have now decide to claim the same thru Banking Ombudsman / Consumer Court.
Also, to my dismay i found that they deposited 1 EMI PDC in the immediate month after full settlement of the loan for which i had to pay cheque bouncing charges to my bank.
Request you to pl guide / take this cause on behalf of all Consumers.
Thanx,
Prakash…

Firstly
In your website wherein the postal addresses of icici Bank Ombudsmen all over India is given ,the email address also must be given for easy and faster communications .
Secondly,
in your website http://www.rediff.com/money/2006/nov/17mc.htm
it is given under security precautions that
“Customers should never share personal information like PIN numbers, passwords etc with anyone, including employees of the bank.”
whereas in the website http://www.indiaprwire.com/pressrelease/financial-services/200708234197.htm
it is found that “Protect yourself from Phishing. Never reply to e-mails asking for your password or PIN”.
But, When i contacted the customer care service of the ICICI bank in Secunderabad / Hyderabad in order to retrieve my pass word which i had forgotten ,they told me to give them my Customer ID, my ATM card number ,its PIN number ,My bank Account number to them to give me another e-banking PIN / Pass word. ?
see your site :http://www.icicibank.com/Pfsuser/personal.html
where its given for the “Re-issue of both userid and password :
1. User Id Re-issue
* Call our 24 hour customer service and request for re-issue of user ID
* Authenticate yourself on IVR and get your User ID instantly over the call(enter debit card no and ATM PIN)
Is it all right to give them these details in order to get a new pass word for internet banking facility?
Thridly
I would like to ask you whether you have seen all these comments about ICICI bank from its account holders, given in the website : http://www.arjunprabhu.com/blog/archives/2005/04/27/icici-bank-a-bad-experience-for-many/all-comments/ ?
Have you investigated the matter ?

Please refer comment from Mr. Prakash dated 7th Oct 2008 at 7:18 AM..”In the case of State Bank of India Vs Usha Vaid & Anr the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission termed prepayment penalty for home loan as unfair and restrictive trade practices.”
If you have details of this, please share the same with all readers, so that they can be benefitted at large. I would also like to move away from my current Bank and hence looking for details of this judgement.
Thanks.

Thanks Ashish.
Prakash, Can you please share the original ruling of The NATIONAL CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL COMMISSION in case of SBI Vs. Usha Vaid. I understand the ruling reference is “The judgement and order dated 26/07/2007 in RP No.2466/2007 of The NATIONAL CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL COMMISSION, NEW DELHI” ( This I extracted from SC Record of Proceedings http://courtnic.nic.in/supremecourt/temp/dc%201634507p.txt).
While references are made to this case in all news items during Sept 2007, I am not finding the actual ruling given by NCDRD. Ideally one should attach this judgement along with the covering letter to bank while presenting your case for waiver of pre-payment penalty.

I have a SIP for Rs 2000 in Reliance Regular Savings Fund. On 03 Oct 08, 2000 Rs were debited from my ICICI Bank Account against my Oct SIP. However,to my surprise, Rss 4000 were again debited on 15 Oct vide two seprate transactions
On approaching Reliance mutual fund customer care they refused to log a complaint advising me to take the matter with my bank. This is the second time i have been charged excess amount in my monthly SIP. Earlier also i logged similar complaint where Rs 2000 were excess debited from my account.

This is Vishal H. Surve holding Barclay Credit Card no. 4339 4844 6175 1885 from Mumbai . I had received call from Barclaycard priority few day’s back. The caller told me that they are offering some facilities to selected Barclaycard holders, which offers free holiday stay with our listed hotels, discounts on shopping from our listed shops etc.
I suppose that they are offering me because I have use the same Credit Card first time and they are offering just to encourage my purchasing with this Credit Card. I ask to the caller if you are offering me the same facility free of cost that kindly provide me the same.
After this I have received one conformation call. This time other caller ask me about my Birthdate,my address,Cell no. Etc
and he had finish without providing my any idea about joining fee, terms and rules for the cancellation of the same service if any.
After receiving statement of Barclays Credit Card came to know that the same offer is availed me by debiting my Credit Card.
On 17/11/08 I had talk with Barclaycard priority customer care regarding the same and they told me to contact on 19/11/08 for feedback.
on 19/11/08 when I call to the Barclaycard priority customer care they inform me that they have check the conversation of caller who offers me the same offer which was in the correct manner & you have given your consent. Now how do I come to know that it’s true. There is no transference between the transaction what is forced on me to pay.
I am receiving almost every day one call from different different caller of Barclay collations Dept. who are forcing me to pay Barclays Credit Card Priority Circle Service fee Rs. 6,000/- and the Service Tax Rs. 741.60.
Now what do I do ? Is I am trapped by Barclaycard priority ?

I am doing transections online thru HDFC Sec. for last 2-3 yrs. I was
getting Contract Note in PHYSICAL FORM and by E-mail till 15-10-08.
Since last 2 months I recive only e-mail notes. on enquiering I was told
that for physical form It will cost Rs.28 per note. My Accountant has told
to get contract notes in Physical forms only for Income-tax purpose.
I recieved a phone call today from Ms.Seema from HDFC Sec stating that if
my e-mails are bounsed they will send contract notes in Physical form, does
this mean I close my e-mail A/c ?.
If this is a cost cutting measure you can send it quarterly to reduce
cost.
I will like to know experience of other consumers who are using online trading. As per SEBI rules every broker has to give contract note in priscribed formate.
Thanks

ICICI is really a “chor” bank.
I have a similar complaint as the gentleman above regarding the ICICI Demat address change. It is with the same lady Bagya Shali who works in ICICI Powai branch.
I have been trying to get my address changed for the past six months and more. I will wait for some more time to give the banking ombudsman time to act.
After that, I will vote with my feet and shift all my a/cs, deposits and demat to maybe HDFC or Axis.
