It is hard to visualize a wooden bridge in today’s world, but you have to see the Chapel Bridge in reality to visualize how it looks. This was a bridge that was first built many centuries back, and is now a popular tourist location (built over the Reuss river just before it joins the Lake Lucerne). The bridge is built of wood, including the cover on top.
