Casket in which the preserved body of Saint Francis Xavier is placed

The Bom Jesus Basilica in old Goa is a heritage structure, consecrated in the year 1605 by the Portuguese archbishop of that time. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage structure, a protected structure. It is also visited by a large number of devout, since it is also the place where the preserved body of the Saint Francis Xavier is placed in a casket.
The casket containing the body is displayed only once every 10 years, but otherwise the casket is visible to everybody since it is placed in one corner, right near the chapel of the church.
