Decorated front portion of the Se Cathedral in old Goa

The front portion in the inside of the Se Cathedral. The Cathedral is the seat of the Patriarch of the East Indies, and is located in a religion rich section of old Goa, where there are a number of monuments such as the Bom Jesus Basilica right in front of the Se Cathedral. The Cathedral is a magnificent white building, being a very large church (probably one of the largest in Asia).
The cathedral was built to celebrate the victory by the Portuguese, with the construction of the church being started in 1562 and was consecrated in 1640. The church is pretty well decorated, as can be seen in this image of an altar inside the church.
