The ruins of the Tower of St. Augustine in old Goa, framed by greenery

We had just come out of the inside of the Se cathedral in old Goa (it was a magnificent structure, both inside and outside) and were roaming in the grounds of the Se Cathedral (the grounds are fairly large when you compare its location within a city) and you can spend some time there (or get shelter from the heat if you are going there in summer).
From the location of the grounds, you can also see the ruins of the Tower of St. Augustine, which is a short distance away. Even though most of the tower has fallen, there remains a high section that is standing, although you can see that most of the building has actually fallen.
