To ensure that your archives have a small thumbnail, what you need to do is to get a small 75 X 75 sized version of your image. When you are creating the post, look down. There will be an Upload box, and then there will be a box called Optional Excerpt. Push your 75 X 75 online, and then create the following tag in the Optional Excerpt box
<img src="location of your 75 X 75 image">
This should ensure that your archives have the thumbnail.

Regarding admin options, the only thing that I have changed is in the Options -> Permalinks
Here, I use the Date and Name based option.

Let me know if you need additional information.

Hi there,

I just stumbled across your blog, great layout! I am currently trying to set up a wordpress photo blog using the Nishita theme (same theme that you have used) however I am experiencing a little difficult with and was wondering whether you could help me a bit please.

Whenever I try creating a post it never seems to show my image, only on the home page. When I go under archives it doesn’t display thumbnail images like it does in your blog, how did you do that? Could you also please run me through some of you admin options like under the writing and reading sections because I think I may have changed something.

Ideally I would love for my blog to end up looking as neat as yours so I would greatly appreciate any help.

Many Thanks,

Nathan
